Tourism Economic Impact and Product Feasibility Study

The Rideau Heritage Route Tourism Association (RHRTA) Board of Directors is seeking professional business consulting services to undertake a comprehensive tourism economic impact and product feasibility study of the Rideau Canal. 

• Quantify economic assets, contributions, employment and government revenues from tourism businesses, municipalities and organizations along with federal and provincial agencies such as Parks Canada and the Ontario Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport along the Rideau corridor. 
  
• Determine the feasibility of creating a world-class paddling destination, its economic impact along with its benefits. 
  
• Identify tourism investment opportunities and foreign direct leads related to the Canal and adjacent municipalities.
