The Rural Economic Development (RED) program is now open and accepting applications.

Ontario's renewed community-based Rural Economic Development (RED) program is providing funding to rural communities, Indigenous communities and organizations, and not-for-profit organizations to help remove barriers to community economic development. The new RED program will receive $5M in funding annually.

The current intake is now open, taking applications for planning and implementation oriented projects. This intake will be open until March 31, 2017. A second intake will be open from July 31 to September 29, 2017.
