GLOBAL AEROSPACE, DEFENCE & SECURITY INNOVATION SHOWCASE

May 18 – 25: CommunicAsia 2017 in Singapore (May 23-25) and optional pre-Trade Mission to Vietnam (May 18 – 19)

ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) is one of the world’s fastest growing regions.  Specific market projections for ASEAN include cloud IT infrastructure sales rose to 49% in 2015 with a projected market value of USD$7 billion by 2019; the Internet of Things (IoT) market is expected to grow from USD$1.68 billion in 2015 to US$7.53 billion by 2020. May 2016 (date to be confirmed):  Smart Grid Trade Mission to Washington, DC and Richmond, VA

The Export Services Branch, in collaboration with the Canadian Embassy, will organize a three-day outgoing trade mission of Canadian smart grid companies to DC and VA.   Ontario companies will have the opportunity to pitch and meet with smaller energy providers, consultants, integrators and engineering firms at the Embassy on the first day, and will to the same on the second and third day but with Dominion Power in DC and with Pepco in VA.   For more information contact Rita.Patlan@ontario.ca and to ensure email delivery due to tech difficulties call (416) 325-9210.

June 4-6:  Southeastern US and Canadian Provinces (SEUS-CP) Alliance Conference, Toronto, ON

Ontario will host the 10th Annual SEUS-CP Conference: Trade Partnerships at Work on June 4-6 at the Fairmont Royal York, Toronto. Join business leaders and elected officials from the southeast United States and Canadian provinces (SEUS-CP) for this three-day conference aimed at increasing business on both sides of the border. June 5-9:  ICT to EduTECH, Australia (2 spots left)

The international education sector is one of Australia’s largest export earners, valued at over $19.5 billion in 2015. In fact, it is one of the country’s top two services exports, along with tourism, and is one of five key super-growth sectors that will support Australia’s economy into the next decade. In partnership with the Canadian Consulate in Sydney, the Ontario government will co-organize a trade mission to Australia for up to 8 Ontario companies interested in exploring this expansive market. As a member of the mission, you will have the opportunity to exhibit at EduTECH 2017—the largest education related ICT event in the Asia-Pacific region. Sept. 12-14, San Francisco: Mobile World Congress Americas (3 spots left)

The Export Services Branch invites you to be part of the Ontario wireless and M2M trade mission to Mobiler World Congress Americas – formerly CTIA (www.gsma.com/events/mobile-world-congress-americas).
