The Ontario Ministry of International Trade invites to you have lunch with the new SEOs before they travel to their posts. This will be a great opportunity to introduce yourself and your community in-person.
The Senior Economic Officers are the province’s official representative in their respective markets, where they build relationships and make connections to strengthen commercial ties with Ontario. They support communities by:
- Sharing market intelligence to strengthen trade and investment activities;
- Advocating on behalf of communities to in-market decision makers;
- Connecting local businesses, post secondary institutions, and research centres to foreign businesses and organizations; and
- Providing program advice for inbound/outbound missions.
